Are You Ready to Play USTA Leagues?
Here is the league information you need to get started:
Spring Leagues (April-June):
Adult 18 and over (Men and Women)
Season dates: 4/1-6/30
Format of play: 2 singles/ 3 doubles lines at NTRP level
(Women’s weekend, 2.5, and Open levels play 3 line format: 1 singles, 2 doubles)
Courts needed:
Option 1: 2 Courts @ 9AM, 1 court @ 10:30AM, 2 courts following
Option 2: 3 courts @ 9AM, 2 courts following
Levels of play: 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0 and Open
Players are able to play up however, teams must be 50% ‘at level’
Roster size: 8 player minimum, 20 players maximum
Days of Play:
Men: All levels Sunday @ 9AM
Women’s Weekday: Monday = 3.5; Tuesday = 3.0; Wednesday = 4.5; Friday= 4.0 and 2.5
Women’s Weekend: Sunday afternoons; 3.5&4.0 = Sundays @ 2PM; 3.0&4.5 TBD by facility
League advances to So Cal Sectionals Championships (7/22-24 or 7/29-31) and USTA National Championships (Oct/Nov).

Mixed Doubles 55 and Over League
Season dates: 4/1-6/30
3 lines of Mixed Doubles played at NTRP combo level
Players must be within 1 NTRP point of each other (i.e. 8.0= 2 4.0’s or 4.5 with 3.5)
Roster size: 6 min to max 16 players
Day of Play: 7.0 and 9.0 = Saturday @ Noon; 8.0 = Saturday @ 2:30PM
League advances to So Cal Sectional Championships (12/9-11) and USTA National Championships (April 2023).

Ladies Leagues (North County San Diego) weekday mornings at 9AM:
Monday- 3.5 and 5.0+ Tuesday- 3.0 Wednesday- 4.5 Friday 4.0 and 2.5
Sunday afternoon leagues for 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 levels will play a 3 line format (1 singles/ 2 doubles).
(If a Sunday teams advances to championships, they will compete in the 5 line format. For Championships, the 2.5 and 5.0+ will compete a 3 line singles/ doubles format.)
Tennis competitors are played during the Spring and Fall
Carmel Valley Tennis has teams in Tennis Competitors for San Diego Women. Please contact the pro shop for more information regarding joining a team.
North County Tennis League and North Coast Invitational are played in the Winter:
Carmel Valley Tennis has teams in the North County Doubles Tennis League for Women (NCDTL) and North Coast Invitational for Women (NCI).
