Carmel Valley Tennis and Bay Club faced each other in an exhibition match to claim bragging rights to see which club is the “best”. Representing Carmel Valley Tennis, teaching professionals Alan Chang and Julianna Gates competed against Bay Club teaching professionals Juan Garcia and Michelle Okhremchuk. The format was 2 out of 3 sets with no ad, the third set played out as a 10-point tiebreaker. This format is very similar to the matches played in the Grand Slams. Many players from the clubs came out to support their club, while enjoying refreshments and dinner. In a nail biting match, Juan and Michelle came out as the champions and won in three sets.
